Kamasan B160 Sproat – Midge hook/Short shank Wet

Superb for use for Buzzers/midge patterns, both emergers & pupa. Aswell as Spider patterns and S/shank nymphs  requiring extra gape for hook point clearance.  Dries such as detached bodies or heavily hackled. Because of the wider gape to hook length these hook is also favoured for bushy palmer’s and even Blob patterns these days. You get the larger gape of a Sz 6 hook but the shank length of a size 10 eg (2 x short- 2 hook lengths smaller than gape size, making them suitable for competitions etc.)
