Wide Gap, Up eye. Reversed – 4 x fine wire. Bronzed finish.

Sprite Hooks were hand made from high carbon Sheffield steel wire which was hardened & tempered to give consistent finish and reliability. Double bronzed for increased corrosion resistance.
Sadly Vince Green passed away, the last geniune hookmaker in the UK who owned Sprite and made the hooks. These are last batches we have from about 2011-12. When they are gone that really is the last hooks actually made in England from the last man standing trained and skilled from the old Redditch school & generations of craftsmanship passed down.
