The superb, metallic green, peacock feathers that are so unique & so irresistably attractive to trout & seatrout. It is also used extensively as horns in old salmon dressings.
The Alexandra wet-fly is most associated with these feathers, a fly that was once so deadly that it was banned on many English reservoirs.
